Carl Jung: What He would Think of the Obama Iran Treaty

Carl Gustav Jung; 26 July 1875 – 6 June 1961), often referred to as C. G. Jung, was a Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist who founded analytical psychology. His work has been influential not only in psychiatry but also in philosophy, anthropology, archaeology, literature, and religious studies. He was a prolific writer, though many of his works were not published until after his death. I have studied Jung for years and he is always one of my go to sources in research for by writings; books and blogs. I was recently reading the following letter he wrote to a pastor in 1951 who was advocating for Germany to disarm. Jung wrote the pastor and to the pastors surprise felt it would be disaster for Germany to NOT rearm. Jung pointed out that those who are pacifists in the face of evil have a subconscious wish to be martyrs and die a glorious death. “The really dangerous ones are the harmless dreamers who don’t know that they want to perish gloriously yet again through their accursed playing the savior.  C.G.Jung  I see the parallels in those that wanted Germany to disarm …
